All about the controls found on the budgee header

Dashboard Metrics

The Budgee header displays key metrics that give you an instant health-check of your organisation:

  • Days of Funds Available: This shows how many days you can continue to operate before your total available funds (bank balances + credit limits) hit zero.
  • Days of Cash Available: A stricter metric that only considers cash in the bank, excluding credit limits.
  • Point-of-Failure Zoom: Clicking on these metrics will instantly zoom the board to the exact date where your cash is predicted to run out, allowing you to identify the specific bills or delays causing the issue.

Visual Logic: Paid vs. Forecasted

Budgee uses a clear visual language to distinguish between what has actually happened and what is predicted to happen:

  • Solid Colors: These represent "Actuals"—transactions that have already been paid and synced from Xero.
  • Transparent/Outlined Colors: These represent "Forecasts"— including unpaid invoices, repeating transactions, and manual projections.

This allows you to see at a glance how much of your current month's cash flow is "locked in" versus how much is still dependent on future actions.
